SUMMARY:August 20 - AI on The Docket (Program 1)
DESCRIPTION:AI on the Docket is a three-part CLE series examining the practical\, ethical\, and strategic dimensions of using artificial intelligence in the practice of law. The series is designed to give attorneys — in private practice and in-house alike — a working knowledge of current AI tools\, the professional responsibility issues they raise\, and how to deploy them competently and ethically across litigation\, transactional\, arbitration\, and corporate legal settings. \nAI on the Docket:\nPractical Use of AI for Transactional and Litigation Attorneys\nTools of the Trade for Litigators and Dealmakers\nThis session surveys the current landscape of AI tools available to attorneys in private practice and provides practical guidance on their effective use in transactional and litigation matters\, including proceedings before courts and arbitral tribunals. Topics include AI-assisted legal research and drafting\, contract review and due diligence\, e-discovery and document review\, deposition and hearing preparation\, and other uses. The session will also provide an overview of the AAA’s AI-driven arbitration and discuss the types of matters for which it may be an appropriate option for dispute resolution. SUMMARY:The Power of Community
DESCRIPTION:The Power of Community \nToo often\, success is framed as solely an individual effort—powering through challenges (or overpowering others) with a “grin and bear it” alone strategy. But what if there’s a better way? Attendees will learn how fostering meaningful connections within the legal community enhances decision-making\, promotes well-being\, and strengthens the profession as a whole. Through practical strategies and shared experiences\, this session\, led by Mey Ly-Ortiz\, Managing Counsel with Toyota\, will empower women attorneys to build networks that support both their careers and ethical responsibilities. It is through the power of community that we grow as individuals and as a profession – for the better of our clients. \nFriday\, April 4\n12:00PM\nArts District Mansion \n1.0 MCLE Ethics Credit \n  \n\n\n\nAdd event to calendar \n \n\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION
