The Dallas Women Lawyers Association’s Board of Directors recommends the membership approve proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws to replace the Association’s current Bylaws and reflect current practices as the DWLA Bylaws were last updated over 10 years ago. The Bylaws’ revisions are the product of a review project led by the Association’s President-Elect with input from a task force of the Association’s Officers (President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer) and Executive Director. The proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws were reviewed and unanimously approved by Board members present at the DWLA Board meeting on August 13, 2019.
The proposed Amended and Restated Bylaws will be presented to the membership for approval at the upcoming September 10th DWLA membership meeting.
