2018 Women’s Equality Day – Jenny Womack

Jenny L. Womack thanks the influential women in her life on #WomensEqualityDay.

I grew up in a fairly matriarchal family with a lot of strong female role models. My grandmothers taught me (mostly by example) that women are as strong, if not stronger, than men. My mother told me I could do anything and taught me how to stand on my two feet (literally and figuratively). These wonderful women loved and supported me as I grew up and became the woman I am today. Thank you to my mother and grandmothers for teaching me to be strong and independent!
