Parkland Health & Hospital System (“Parkland”) is seeking an experienced managed care attorney to join the company’s legal team as Associate General Counsel based in Dallas, TX. The attorney will handle a wide variety of matters for the Parkland Community Health Plan and with Parkland’s managed care team with respect to Parkland’s obligations as a provider with managed care agreements. In addition to their own work, this attorney will be managing outside counsel for the health plan and Parkland and will be operating with minimal supervision. Parkland Health & Hospital System first opened its doors in 1894 and is now one of the largest public hospital systems in the country. The hospital averages more than 1 million patient visits annually. Services include a Level I Trauma Center, the second largest civilian burn center in the U.S. and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
