Join DWLA next week, October 5-9th for #DWLAGives, in support of Genesis Women’s Shelter. Throughout this week, join us for virtual events, learn how you can get involved, and help us aid Genesis Women’s Shelter in its mission of ending domestic violence.

Joe with Genesis – Monday October 5th from 8:30-9:15 am -Have a cup of coffee and join us for a virtual chat with a representative from Genesis and Susan Wetzel of the DWLA Foundation. They will discuss how Genesis is able to positively impact the lives of women in Dallas and tell us how we can help. The suggested donation for participation in this event is $5 (the cost of your favorite cup of joe).

TikTok Dance Party for Kids – Friday October 9th from 5:30-6:15 pm – Take a break while your kids take a virtual dance lesson featuring all of their favorite TikTok dances! The suggested donation for participation in this event is $10.

Stock Your Bar – Friday October 9th from 7:15-8:00 pm– Join us for a virtual “Stock Your Bar” party! Bartender Chris McGhee will be teaching us about all of the essentials needed to stock your best home bar (an important skill for quarantine). The suggested donation for this event is $15.
