DWLA invites our in-house allies to “An Afternoon of Ethics & Conversation: An Exclusive* In-Person CLE Program & Celebration of DWLA’s In-House Community.” DWLA is so grateful to its deep bench of in-house partners that have devoted their time, talent, and legal acumen to DWLA. As both an acknowledgement and thank you for your support, DWLA is happy to present our in-house partners with an opportunity to obtain 1-hour of Ethics CLE credit while mixing and mingling with other in-house counsel and the DWLA Board of Directors at the Cowboys Club in Frisco, Texas. Judge John Roach, Jr., Presiding Judge of the 296th Judicial District Court of Collin County, Texas, and Judge Angela Tucker, Presiding Judge of the 199th Judicial Court of Collin County, Texas will present a 1-hour Ethics CLE Presentation. Both Judge Roach and Judge Tucker are seasoned jurists whose courts are those of a general jurisdiction, which means Judge Roach and Judge Tucker hear felony criminal, family law, civil and cases involving child protective services. Judge Roach’s and Judge Tucker’s presentation will cover topics to include: “tips and tricks” for practicing in Collin County, what judges wish that in-house counsel knew, the changing legal landscapes and demographics of the county, forecasted legal trends, and the new business court.
