Join DWLA for a virtual CLE on Tuesday, October 15th.  Candace Groth with Vela Wood will  present “Understanding Representation and Warranty Insurance in M&A Transactions”

This program provides an overview of representation and warranty insurance in M&A Transactions. Topics covered include (a) what representation and warranty insurance is; (b) coverage for legal claims; (c) common legal exclusions; (d) advantages and disadvantages for buyer and seller of representation and warranty insurance; (e) how representation and warranty insurance effects negotiation of the Purchase Agreement; and (f) legal pitfalls that attorneys should be aware of. Attorneys will leave the presentation better equipped to explain to clients when representation and warranty insurance could be to their legal advantage during an M&A transaction.
