PCR is seeking a mid to senior level commercial real estate associate to join our robust, growing commercial real estate transactions practice. This individual would be responsible for assisting the partners in all facets of commercial real estate development and financing transactions, including interfacing with clients and other deal parties. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of solid commercial real estate transaction experience, preferably (but not necessarily) of the “big law” variety.

Who We Are: We are former “big law” attorneys who made the entrepreneurial decision to start our own firm 6 years ago. Since then, we have grown from a mere three-attorney shop to a 36-person, full-service law firm, offering commercial real estate, corporate, tax, business litigation, and intellectual property litigation services. Duties and responsibilities:
• Assist partners
• Prepare and/or negotiate letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, title objection letters, leases, joint venture agreements, and financing documents
• Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey, land use/zoning, and environmental
• Quarterback deal closings, including coordination with deal teams and title companies
• Manage and delegate tasks to junior associates and paralegals
• Conduct deal status conferences

Requirements and Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Genuine, authentic personality
• Confidence
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• J.D. and Texas Bar Admittance
