AI on the Docket is a three-part CLE series examining the practical, ethical, and strategic dimensions of using artificial intelligence in the practice of law. The series is designed to give attorneys — in private practice and in-house alike — a working knowledge of current AI tools, the professional responsibility issues they raise, and how to deploy them competently and ethically across litigation, transactional, arbitration, and corporate legal settings.
AI on the Docket:
Practical Use of AI for Transactional and Litigation Attorneys
Tools of the Trade for Litigators and Dealmakers
This session surveys the current landscape of AI tools available to attorneys in private practice and provides practical guidance on their effective use in transactional and litigation matters, including proceedings before courts and arbitral tribunals. Topics include AI-assisted legal research and drafting, contract review and due diligence, e-discovery and document review, deposition and hearing preparation, and other uses. The session will also provide an overview of the AAA’s AI-driven arbitration and discuss the types of matters for which it may be an appropriate option for dispute resolution. This CLE will provide attendees with a practical framework for evaluating and confidently integrating AI technology and tools into their day-to-day practice.
