2026 WMC Mentee Registration
About Women’s Mentoring Circles
The Dallas Women Lawyers Association (“DWLA”) and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (“DAYL”) are excited to roll out the 2026 Women’s Mentoring Circles (“WMC”) Program. For over a decade, WMC has been an award-winning initiative designed to support the development, advancement, and retention of women lawyers through mentorship, education, and community-building opportunities.
How Does WMC Work?
Participants are thoughtfully placed into mentoring circles that bring together women lawyers at various stages of their careers, guided by experienced mentors. Throughout the year, participants are required to attend four (4) large group events: an engaging kick-off session followed by three programs tailored to address key topics of interest to women lawyers and foster meaningful connections. Participants are also encouraged to meet with their circles outside of these events for more personal and informal interactions.
Mentee Requirements
- Must be a woman lawyer licensed for less than 7 years
- If you’ve been licensed for more than 7 years but wish to participate as a mentee, please explain why in the “Other” box below (e.g., new to DFW, licensed but no practice experience)
- *Early submission is encouraged! Space is limited and applications will close when all spots are filled.
The registration deadline for Mentees is Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
Dates for 2026 WMC’s 4 large-group events:
- Tuesday, March 24 – 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, April 21 – 12:00 p.m. (virtual)
- Wednesday, May 27 – (evening – TBD)
